Part 25 The World Hates The Truth Lo
If there is a fact that we need to come to terms with, it is the fact that the world at large hates the truth. And it is not that the world doesn't know the truth, because the world does. Paul in Romans 1 reminds us that everyone knows the truth, it is just everyone suppresses the truth in unrighteousness. But even though the world hates the truth, the world desperately needs the truth. And so we must courageously declare the truth even when the world pushes back. Listen here.

    Part 24 What About Judas
In Mark Chapter 6:7-13 we find that Jesus calls his apostles, he trained them, he equipped them, and he sent them out to preach and do miracles. And they went. All 12 of them. And that includes Judas. Jesus called Judas to be an apostle. He trained him, he equipped him, and he sent him out. WHY? This raises several important questions. Was Judas saved? Was Jesus fooled? And was God surprised by Judas’ actions? And what does all of this mean for us? Listen here.

    Part 23 Obey and Go
The truth is, Jesus equipped his 12 apostles to go out and preach the gospel and he empowered them to meet people’s needs. Many of us, as Christ followers, are willing and happy to go out and love those around us through ministries of mercy but we are afraid and even unwilling to share the gospel. The problem is that meeting peoples short term needs but never addressing their greatest need (the need for salvation) is ultimately not loving but selfish. Listen here to “Obey and Go”.

Part 22 The Aweful Power of Unbelief
It has been said familiarity breeds contempt. Jesus knew this all to well when he preached to the members of his hometown. The first time they tried to kill him. The second time they called him an illegitimate child of a scandalous woman. The fact is, the normal default for unbelievers is a hard-hearted rejection of the gospel. That is to be expected. So, don't take it personal if you share the hope of Christ and they reject it. Your job is to sow the seed, love the people, pray for God to change their hard hearts and never give up.
