It’s Worse Than We Thought

About a decade ago a study was conducted that reveled something quite shocking about the faith of adolescents and young adults in America. The study revealed that the youth and young adults were open faith, but the faith they adopted was not Biblical Christianity. And what is more this belief system has become the dominant system of belief in America and is found in every denomination of Christianity. And even worse this study has concluded that the adolescents and young adults that have embraced this view didn't learn it outside the church. The learned it inside the church. This is what happens when we loose the anchors of our theology. Listen to Part 1.

God may be silent to the world, but He still speaks to his people, particularly those who are devoted and obedient to Him.
This week we look at the story of Simeon and Anna and what their lives can teach us about listening for the voice of God.

    Gaurd Your Heart with Gratitude
Ignatius of Antioch believed that the first sin Adam and Eve committed was not rebellion, or pride or greed, it was instead ingratitude. Ingratitude takes our heart and mind off of God and his goodness and it causes us to be self centered and self absorbed. Ingratitude is quite possibly the root cause of all sin. Listen to part 2.

    More Than A Song
When we see God as worthy enough we will sing to him with all our heart and praise him with all that we have and love him even when the music or the song isn't the style or genre that we prefer. We need to value God enough to learn to love the songs and the music that connects other people to him. Remember worship isn't about us. It is about God. Listen to Part 2
