    Despising the Bride
One of the most pervasive lies in Christian culture is the statement "I don't need the church". Now it is is true that you do not need to belong to a church to be saved, but it is not God's plan for us do life without the local body of Christ. As D.A. Carson puts it "It would have been inconceivable in the first century to call yourself a Christian but not join a church." Listen to Part 4

How many times have you said it? "I'm a good person." I know I have said it, and I have believed it. But is it really true? Am I good person that occasionally does bad things? Or is it something else? Are people by nature good or wicked? It seams everyone has an opinion on this subject. But what does the Bible say about it? Listen to part 2.

    It’s Worse Than We Thought

About a decade ago a study was conducted that reveled something quite shocking about the faith of adolescents and young adults in America. The study revealed that the youth and young adults were open faith, but the faith they adopted was not Biblical Christianity. And what is more this belief system has become the dominant system of belief in America and is found in every denomination of Christianity. And even worse this study has concluded that the adolescents and young adults that have embraced this view didn't learn it outside the church. The learned it inside the church. This is what happens when we loose the anchors of our theology. Listen to Part 1.

    Sacred Privilege
Sometimes following God is uncomfortable, and difficult, and stressful, and dangerous. Sometimes when we follow God we don't get to see the fruit of our work. But that ok. We serve a big God with big plans who works in the long term. These are some of the lessons we learned from the life of the man who raised the Son of God. Listen to Part 3.

    A Voice in the Dark
During the 400 silent years where there were no new prophets or revelations, God still spoke to his people. The truth is God speaks to and will continue to speak to those who earnestly seek him. God may be silent to the world, but He still speaks to his people, particularly those who are devoted and obedient to Him.
This week we look at the story of Simeon and Anna and what their lives can teach us about listening for the voice of God.
