How Can God Save Someone Like Me
We know that God can save us, but there are times when we make a mess of things where we wonder will God save someone like me? Does he really care about me? And there are times when our circumstances seem to scream “NO! No he won’t save you. No he doesn’t love you. Look at you!” But God is faithful to keep his promises even when we fall on our faces, even when me make huge mistakes even when we fall into sin. We can trust God to save us…even when it doesn’t seem to make sense. Listen to part 1.

    Parable of the Sower
Some times we struggle to share the gospel with the world around us because to so many parts of the gospel are offensive to people around us. And because of that there is a tendency for us to want to leave out parts of the gospel and change how we tell people about the hope we have in Christ. But the truth is....this is nothing new! The gospel has always offended people. Because the truth convicts and makes us uncomfortable at times. That is why so many struggled to believe the gospel even when it came out of Jesus out mouth. And in the parable of the sower Jesus helps us to see that the problem isn't the gospel itself, the problem is people hearts. And our job isn't to change the gospel but rather faithfully share it and pray God would change their heart. Listen here.

Jesus can rescue us from all these things. Listen to this message of hope about how Jesus rescues. Included is Pastor Sherman's personal testimony of how Christ rescued him from one of the darkest periods of his life, and how that saved the life of one of his children.

Mom's and dads your primary job is not to be your child's friend. Your job is to be their parent. A Dangerous Decision
One of the way we protect our children is we limit their choices. The reason is there are some choices they are not equipped to make. 5 Year olds are not equipped to make decisions about what their diets consist of. Preteens are not equipped to decide for themselves what the appropriate boundaries are for their affections toward their crush. We as parents make a lot of decisions for our children because we want to keep them safe. But there is one decision that we allow our children, of every age to make, that can have the most sever and lasting consequences. Listen to Part 4 to find out more.
