Despising the Bride
One of the most pervasive lies in Christian culture is the statement "I don't need the church". Now it is is true that you do not need to belong to a church to be saved, but it is not God's plan for us do life without the local body of Christ. As D.A. Carson puts it "It would have been inconceivable in the first century to call yourself a Christian but not join a church." Listen to Part 4

    It’s Worse Than We Thought

About a decade ago a study was conducted that reveled something quite shocking about the faith of adolescents and young adults in America. The study revealed that the youth and young adults were open faith, but the faith they adopted was not Biblical Christianity. And what is more this belief system has become the dominant system of belief in America and is found in every denomination of Christianity. And even worse this study has concluded that the adolescents and young adults that have embraced this view didn't learn it outside the church. The learned it inside the church. This is what happens when we loose the anchors of our theology. Listen to Part 1.
